I purchased mine (Shea Butter) today because my hands are cracking and very very sore.  I'm very happy to be feeling relief. You have no idea how much relief I'm feeling. I didn't show you how deep the splits were. I could barely use my fingers and thumb.

A surprise package arrived for me from a friend containing these lovely edible art cookies with an accompanying thoughtful note wishing me Happy International Women’s Day. 🥰
Historically and presently, women usually create, nurture, uplift and inspire each other. I’m grateful to have a positive network of women both personally and professionally.
According to statistics Canada, women represent the majority of essential workers:
- 2018/2019 school year, 75% were educators
- Mar.- May 2020, 87% were registered nurses, including 31% were nurses aids who were immigrant women
- June 2020 approximately 64% of women reported being the main parent mostly responsible for homeschooling or helping children with homework compared to 19% of men.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Happy International Women’s Day to all of my special network of women who challenge me to be a better person, you know who you are, and to ALL women who

The Inauguration of the 46th president in the US is taking place today during one of the most tumultuous times many of us have experienced in our life times. Many of us may be feeling mixed emotions about the change of administration. Unsure about how to manage these emotions? Try having a conversation with a trusted, reliable person about your BIG emotions and thoughts rather than keeping your thoughts and emotions “bottled” inside. Suggested people to talk to : counselor, family doctor, guardian, local government, teacher, guidance counselor, community agency.

The pandemic has created a situation whereby going to school in North America looks a lot different than previous years. Regardless of the pandemic, N. America continues to have an abundance of resources. Parents and children maintain the right and choice to access free education. In Ghana and Liberia, West Africa, education is not free nor does every parent have the choice to send their child to school due to a number of lacking resources such as a lack of safe schools, classrooms for pre-school and kindergarten. Personally, I give my time and donate to 2 charities which help champion the advancement of education and help marginalized children: Schools of Dreams and Empowerment Squared. Mom and I are in the photo standing in front of one of our school buildings in Ghana. According to a 2008 study by Harvard Business School professor Michael Norton, “Giving makes us feel happy.” For more information contact @schoolsofdreams @empowermentsqd

I like to walk outdoors whenever I get a chance. For me, being in nature feels great to breathe the fresh air, move in a different environment and be mindful of any experiences that may occur. If you’re blessed to have a kind friend join you and bring you a warm drink, that’s even better 😉
Try it.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is one of nature's best moisturizers.  Rich in antioxidants and vitamins, it feels luxurious on the skin without a greasy residue.

Sourced from the African Shea Nut in Ghana, West Africa, our blends are infused with specific Ayurvedic recommendations of essential oils suggested to help balance your mood and carrier oils to soothe and moisturize your skin.

Ayaressa Wellness Company has 4 Whipped Shea Butter blends to choose from: Unscented, Calm and Cool, Calm and Uplift, Energize.

Yoga

groovy kids yoga

We use yoga along with research-based neurological techniques to promote and maintain holistic wellness for all age groups.

Our kids yoga classes help to calm children and prepare them to be alert and ready to learn through simple breathing tools and mindfulness techniques. We also discuss acts of kindness towards self and others to promote positive interaction among children.

Athletic Bags

athletic bags

Our athletic bags are batik cotton blends designed and created in Ghana, West Africa. African prints are known for their vibrant colours and designs. Most designs carry a story from folklore represented by the symbols used in the batik fabric.

We purchase our bags from local artisan women owning small businesses. With each purchase, we empower the female artists to feed their families through their small business thus creating sustainable employment.
